Frequently asked questions
What is a PMHNP?
A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is an advanced-practice registered nurse with specialized training in mental health who can diagnose conditions and prescribe medication.
How do telehealth visits work?
Our care team will send your video-visit link and joining instructions before your appointment. Please use a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, and join from a private, quiet space.
Which states do you serve?
We currently see patients who are physically located in the states listed on this site at the time of their visit. If your state isn't listed, please contact us.
Do you prescribe medication?
Yes. Our providers offer psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management. The provider will determine the most appropriate treatment plan with you.
Is telehealth right for me in an emergency?
No. Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 if you are in immediate danger.
How do I become a new patient?
Choose “Book Appointment” to see available times on our appointment page, or call our office if you need help. Our care team will provide intake and consent instructions before your first visit.
